Beverly Daly Obituary
Reading- Beverly F (Martin-Cosenza) Daly, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Burlington with her loving son by her side.
Born in Leominster on January 11, 1928, she was the beloved wife of the late James Daly, daughter of the late Nelson and Alfreda (Babineau) Martin.
A longtime resident of Leominster and Reading MA, she spent many years as the former co-owner of West Street Variety, Leominster, MA and Tony’s Casino Market, Hampton NH. She was employed by the Leominster School Dept. and finished her career working for the state of Massachusetts in the community college sector. She lit up a room with her presence, making friends easily and genuinely making people feel loved.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of those dearest to her. She leaves behind her only pride and joy, son, Mark A. Cosenza and wife Margaret of Maine. Her 2 step-grandchildren, Michele and Brittany Latuch. 2 great step- grandchildren, Emma Rose and James Bonin. Many beloved nieces and nephews. Beverly was predeceased by her sister Barbara Langraf and in-laws Joseph and Loretta Bruno.

A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at the Doherty- Barile Funeral Home, 11 Linden St, Reading, MA 01867. Visitation at 11AM. Service to commence at 11:30AM. Cemetery interment will follow at the Forest Glen Cemetery, 270 Pearl St., Reading MA 01867, followed by a reception at “Kitty’s”, 123 Main St. N. Reading, MA 01864.
