Beverly Jean "Bev" Davidson

Beverly "Bev" Jean Davidson, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Cincinnati, OH, on November 1, 1940, Bev was the daughter of the late George and Caroline Hudson. She lived a life filled with passion, kindness, and service to others. After graduating from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in 1961, Bev began her career at Jewish Hospital before joining the former Northern Kentucky Orthopedics, now OrthoCincy, where she dedicated over 35 years to caring for patients. Her positive attitude, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. Bev was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was always ready with words of encouragement and a willingness to lend a helping hand. She found joy in the simple things-spending time outdoors, gathering with family and friends, enjoying a bag of potato chips and a can of soda, cross stitching, reading, and fiercely competing at canasta and Mexican train. She will be deeply missed by her longtime friend, Liz Youngs; her daughter, Karen (John) Haynes; her son, Jerry (Teresa) Davidson; and her beloved grandchildren: Josh (Laura) Davidson, Kristen (Anthony) Morris, Katie (Garrett) Majors, Angie Haynes, Michaela (Adam) Ainbinder, Tyler Davidson, and Lauren Haynes. Bev also leaves behind eight cherished great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 A.M. at Florence Methodist Church, 8585 Old Toll Road, Florence, KY 41042.
