Beverly J. Dennis

Beverly Dennis (Bond), 94, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2025.

Beverly was born November 3rd, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio to Wilbur Leslie Bond and Mildred Blanche (Kimberly) Bond.

Beverly graduated from Holland/Springfield High School in 1949 where she enjoyed cheerleading and glee club. She married Alfred George Dennis on May 12th, 1951 in the chapel at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. During their marriage, they spent 2 years in Japan while Alfred served in the Air Force. She had an adventurous spirit and visited all 50 states. She was a kind, compassionate and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She greeted all family members with a smile, hug, and a peck on the lips. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and her personal motto was "don't worry, be happy". She loved playing cards and dice with family during get-togethers over the summers and snow-birded in Arizona in the winter months.

Surviving are: son Craig Dennis, daughter Dawn (Scott) Saverstrom; grandchildren Todd, Heather, Jenna (Roshan), and Kirsten (Joseph); great-grandchildren Olivia, Elias, Maggie, and Adler; sisters Ann (David) Gregory, Judy (Bob) Caldwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred; grandson Paul; brothers Russel, Thomas; sister Gloria.

Visitation will be held at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, Ohio on Friday, January 2nd from 2:00 p.m. until the time of funeral ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
