Beverly Eisenhut Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beach Funeral Home - East - Satellite Beach on Feb. 6, 2026.
Beverly Jean "Jeanie" Eisenhut (Hackenberger), age 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 28, 2026, in Melbourne, Florida.

Jeanie was born on August 29, 1940, in Findlay, Ohio, Jeanie was the beloved daughter of Jim and Thelma Hackenberger. She grew up in a large and loving family alongside her seven sisters-Ruth, Mary, Joan, Janet, Barbara, Lou, and Sarah-and her brother Jim. All preceded her in death.

Jeanie built a life marked by devotion to her family, strength through faith, and a deep commitment to loving those around her. She was the cherished wife of Bruce Eisenhut and a devoted mother to their two daughters, Stacy Hayworth (Mike) and Stephanie Quintero. Her legacy continues through her three granddaughters, Gabby, Emily and Payton, who brought immense joy to her life.

A woman of remarkable resilience and grace, Jeanie was a dedicated military wife who managed the home front with strength and love while Bruce served our military at sea for extended periods. She raised their children with unwavering care during those times apart, instilling in them values rooted in kindness and compassion. One of the guiding principles she taught was the Golden Rule or Luke 6:31 from the Bible which reads "do to others as you would have them do to you," a reflection of her deep Christian faith.

Professionally, Jeanie worked in real estate-a career that allowed her to help families find homes. Some of them built by her husband Bruce. Together, they formed a unique partnership that blended his craftsmanship with her hospitality.

Jeanie's passions were as vibrant as her spirit. She loved water skiing and jet skiing with family and friends-moments filled with laughter and sunshine that became treasured memories. In quieter times, she found joy in reading and cross-stitching. She might read an entire book in one day. Among her most cherished creations were handmade Christmas ornaments lovingly cross stitched for her daughter Stephanie. Her interest in genealogy led her on meaningful discoveries into the past as she uncovered old photographs and stories about her ancestors. Above all else, she treasured time spent visiting and talking with her siblings-a bond that remained strong throughout their lives.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. It gave her strength through every season and shaped the way she loved others-with patience, generosity, and grace.

Jeanie's life was one of quiet strength and enduring love. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

A private service will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery to honor Jeanie's life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to her church, Coastline Community Church's Legacy Fund @ thecoastlinechurch.com or mail to 409 E. Eau Gallie Blvd. Indian Harbor Beach, FL 32937
