Beverly Lichter Gersh

Beverly L. Gersh (nee Lichter), of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 78.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 57 years, Alan Gersh; her loving children, Jeffrey and Indye Gersh, and Debi and Marc Van Camp; her beloved sister, Edie Gersh; her cherished sister-in-law, Bobbie Lichter; and beloved grandchildren, Ellye and Andrew Gersh, Shane, Addy, and Troy Van Camp. Beverly is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families who she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, Esther and Charles Lichter, her brother, Harry Lichter, her sister, Freida Epstein; and her brother-in-law, Howard Gersh.

Beverly was best known for working at Zyzyx. When she wasn't there, she was taking care of her five grandchildren. She loved showing her grandchildren old movies and shows, and she loved having sleepovers with them. When the children were sick, they wanted their Bubbie more than their parents. That was her number one (and favorite) job – being a Bubbie.

Services will be held at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Wednesday, June 19th at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Har Sinai Cemetery, 11405 Garrison Forrest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Harry Lichter Chesed Fund at Beth El Congregation. The family will be mourning at 802 Queens Park Drive, Owings Mills, MD 21117
