Beverly June Gilstrap, 66, of Dill City, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2025. She was born on January 29, 1959, to Ira Mitchell (Mike) and Charlene B. (Cook) Johnson in Elk City, Oklahoma. Beverly grew up and attended school in Dill City, graduating from Dill City High School in 1976. After highschool Beverly attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in marketing. She had one son, Logan Gilstrap. Beverly worked as a case worker for SWODA. She enjoyed shopping and collecting vintage art. Beverly was an avid Sewer, Knitter, Crocheter, and painter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include:
Son: Logan Gilstrap & Companion Lillie, Bethany, OK
Grandchildren: Azalea Gilstrap and Asher Rogers
Sister: Kay Plummer, Dill City, OK
Brother: Terry Johnson & wife Tammy, Dill City, OK
Numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Preceded in death by Parents: Ira Mitchell (Mike) and Charlene B. (Cook) Johnson, Brothers: Vance Johnson and David Johnson.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026
