Beverly J. Horridge, 88, of Fairbury passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1936 in Watseka, a daughter of Francis and Lillian (Dubbel) Kietzman. She married James Allen in 1955 in Gilman and he preceded her in death. She later married Paul Horridge and he preceded her in death. Beverly is also preceded in death by both of her parents; one brother, Don Kietzman; one sister, Marsha Bradshaw; and one daughter, Denise Parrish.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Donna (Kevin) Metz of Cullom; son, Dave (Susan) Allen of Fairbury; two brothers, Rich (Diana) Kietzman of Sherman and Steve (Maureen) Kietzman of Onarga; one sister, Sandra (Sid) Kaufman of Cissna Park; sister-in-law, Bonnie Jean Kietzman of Paxton; and brother-in-law, Gary Bradshaw of Buckley; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Beverly was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gilman. Beverly spent many years working for United Soils. She loved gardening, puzzles, and dancing. Beverly was very talented at quilting and sewing. Most of all, she loved being with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga with a visitation held two hours prior. Pastor Jim Harkins will officiate. Burial will be in the Onarga Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or Epilepsy Research.
