A note from Al and Linda Draper:
I was pastor of FBC Wylie for 36 years and retired 20 years ago. We were sad to hear about the loss of Beverly and wanted you to know the tremendous blessing she was to hundreds of people she never knew.
Many years ago, her friend, Sarah Armstrong sought her help in writing a theme song for the Happy Circle. We sang that song at every meeting and dozens of times on the many Happy Circle trips we took.
This is the song she wrote:
"Oh the time to be happy is now and the place to be happy is here, and the way to be happy is to make other people happy and have a little heaven down here."
I can just see her and Sarah rejoicing together in the Father's House, singing together, "O the time to be happy is now and the place to be happy is here."
May the Lord's presence be felt as you walk through this valley. (Psalm 23)
Thank you for sharing her with us and the blessing she was to so many.
-Al and Linda Draper
