Beverly J. Koerner

Beverly J. Koerner, 75, of Reeders, died Thursday evening, November 28, 2024, upon arrival at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono after being stricken at home. She was the widow of Arthur R. Koerner, Sr. with whom she shared 58 years of marriage at the time of his death on June 13, 2022.
Born on March 25, 1949 in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Howard Shick, Sr. and Lorraine (Warner) Shick Kraft.
Beverly was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and worked at Birchwood Resort, Roadway and Jackie's Sportswear.
She was a long-time active member of St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church in Appenzell.
Surviving are four children, Cheryl Koerner of Ocean City, MD, Arthur R. Koerner, Jr. and wife Marsha of Saylorsburg, Christopher Koerner and wife Misty of O'Fallon, IL, and Heather Tramontina and husband Brian of Amarillo, TX; seventeen grandchildren, Thomas, Nikole, A.J., Dominick, Alexandra, Francesca, Giovanni, Liam, Cordell, Christian, Heavin, Ashley, Brittany, Mackenzie, Rob, Timothy and David; thirty great grandchildren (with two more on the way); three sisters, Linda Rau of Stroudsburg, Bonnie Duffy of Tobyhanna and Peggy Anderson of Branford, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Ace; a grandson, Daniel Davis; and a brother, Howard Shick.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 7th, at St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church, 242 Miller Road, Stroudsburg (village of Appenzell), with visitation beginning at noon followed by the funeral service at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to St. Mark's Community Lutheran Church or to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
