Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Kinderton Chapel - AdvanceBeverly Jane Kupsky, 98, passed away peacefully at Bermuda Village in Bermuda Run on August 12. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Beverly was born in Michigan on July 16, 1927, to John Milligan and Helen Myles Welsh Laburn Milligan.
Beverly met her beloved sweetheart, Charles Harvey Kupsky, during high school through her brother, Jack Milligan, despite the two attending rival schools. The couple married in 1948 and were blessed with three wonderful children. Throughout the many moves of their married life, Beverly warmly embraced each new community, generously sharing her time and talents with local churches and schools.
Beverly and Charles moved to Bermuda Village Retirement Community in late 1995. Beverly quickly became an active and cherished member of the community, ever ready for a friendly game of bridge or a round of golf with the ladies. She will be fondly remembered for her gracious spirit and the warmth with which she welcomed new residents, ensuring they felt both included and at home.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and daughter Kathleen Martz. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Linda, and husband Harry “Skip” William Bedard III; son, Charles Kupsky, and wife Sandra; and son-in-law, Dave Martz. She is survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren of whom she was very proud: Harry William Bedard IV, wife Sarah and daughters Aurelia and Violet; Jennifer Bedard, husband Allen McDonald; Dr. Kathleen Bedard, husband Antonio Mantica and daughter Helen; Emily Baker, husband Andrew and son Charles; and Megan Coeburn, husband Brian and daughter Madeline.
Her family will always cherish memories of Grandma’s adventurous spirit, her delight in exploring museums, her constant companionship with a good book, and the infectious smile and laughter that could brighten any room.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Batangas Gardens at Bermuda Village for their compassionate care and kindness to Grandma during her time there.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Bermuda Village.
