Beverly J. Macarthy

Beverly J. Macarthy, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Frankfort, IL. Survived by her children Dennis (Chris) Macarthy, Debbie (Larry) Miller, Frank Macarthy, Jon (Cindy) Macarthy and Karen (Mark) Ogorzalek, 12 grandchildren Heather, Kiersten (Kevin), Sean (Melissa), Kevin, Michael (Kelsey), Philip (Taylor), Frank (Cristina), Kyra, Scott (Haley), Ryan and Patrick, 9 great grandchildren Sierra (Chris), Rowan, Colton, Luci, Laci, Trevor, Stefan, Alayna, and Michael J., and her brother Steve Hollaway. Preceded in death by her parents Vernon Thomas Hollaway and Rosemary (nee Sherer) Hollaway, her husband Frank Macarthy, her daughter Kathleen Krieter, her granddaughter Elyce, her daughter-in-law Pascale Macarthy, her sister Rosemary Simpson, and her brothers Jack Hollaway and James Hollaway. Beverly was born on April 25th, 1934, in St. Louis, MO. Beverly and Frank were married on July 26th,1952, and they raised six remarkably independent and strong children. Beverly enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Frank, which they tried to do at least once a year. Beverly enjoyed cooking and she was an avid gardener; her flower gardens were expansive and breathtaking. Most of all, Beverly took most joy in spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on March 21, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort, IL. Family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of her service. Beverly will be reunited with her husband Frank at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date.
