Beverly Ann MacDowell

Beverly Ann MacDowell, age 85 of Clearwater Florida, passed away peacefully May 2, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband, John and brother, Ross. She is survived by her children Linda (Brian) McMaster, Catherine (Roger) Ribert, Virginia Ohanian, Laura (Russell) Payne, Carol Merrill, John (Missy) MacDowell, fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was born in Buffalo, New York on June14,1937. She married in 1957 to her forever sweetheart John. As a loving, gentle, kind and devoted mother, her priority was always her family. She was a model of selflessness, generosity, humility, patience and unconditional love. One of her most visible attributes was her unwavering positivity which brought light, hope and love to everyone she encountered. She enjoyed the beauty of nature, spending time with her family gathered at Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes of New York and in Naples and Clearwater, Florida. Beverly hosted many family get-togethers providing elaborate meals, comfortable accommodations, hugs and kisses, as well as a good card game of Scat. She was a firm believer of the Catholic faith and instilled the church's values in all of her beloved children. She was a faithful servant of God, always putting others' needs before her own. When asked what she wanted to do, she would always reply, "Anything, as long as I'm with my family". She took pride in all of her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchild. In her final days she showed courage, strength and determination. Her loving family is grateful to have been present with her as she passed peacefully to her eternal home. She is now one amongst the angels in heaven, continuing to share her light and love forever. Her life will be celebrated on May 9, 2023 at 11am at Saint Catherine's of Siena church in Clearwater, Florida. A private burial ceremony will be held after the church service.
