Beverly Ann "Noni" Marstellar, 84, of
Ocala, Florida, entered into eternal rest with our Lord Jesus Christ on November 1, 2025. Beverly's warmth, laughter, and love for others were constants in the lives of all who knew her. She was a deeply cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother, sister, and friend.
Born on July 19, 1941, in South Carolina, Beverly was the daughter of Robert Alton and Bertha Helen Underwood. She grew up in the close-knit communities of South Georgia, cultivating a lifelong love of people, faith, and conversation. Beverly went on to become a devoted wife to the late William Charles Marstellar, with whom she shared a beautiful partnership rooted in faith and hospitality. Together, they raised three children Sherri Fisher, Melinda Meyer, and Steven Marstellar who will forever carry on her spirit of generosity, faith, and joy.
Known affectionately as "Noni," Beverly found joy in connecting with others. She had the rare gift of making everyone she met feel special, whether through her open home, her heartfelt hugs, or the easy, genuine conversations she started everywhere she went. With her radiant smile, carefully styled hair, and love for a touch of glamour, Beverly carried herself with grace and confidence until the very end.
Beverly's life was one of active service and vibrant community involvement. She was a member of the varsity basketball team in high school and later played basketball and softball on church teams at Porterfield United Methodist Church in Albany, Georgia. Her servant's heart guided her through many roles: lifeguard for the Girl Scouts of America, troop leader, and later, director of Cornerstone at Trinity Baptist Church in
Ocala, Florida. She dedicated herself to teaching Sunday School, leading Bible studies, and supporting ministries such as Lifeline Ministries in Mexico, Mountain Top Tennessee, and Interfaith Food Community Services.
When not serving others, Beverly delighted in the company of her close friends, the "Flamingo Girls," with whom she shared countless adventures and laughter-filled vacations. She loved reading, collecting dolls, and treasuring photographs of her family and friends, reminders of the countless lives she touched through her compassion and unwavering faith.
Beverly is survived by her children Sherri, Melinda, and Steven; her sister Sandra Hesterlee; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her brother, Robert Underwood; her mother, Bertha Helen Underwood; and father, Robert Alton Underwood.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held Thursday, November 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in
Ocala, Florida, followed by a reception at the church. Her burial will be in Albany, GA at Floral Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to Trinity Baptist Church Cornerstone Ministry. Please make checks payable to Trinity Baptist Church subject Beverly Marstellar.
