Beverly Ann McCulloch

Beverly Ann (Reed) McCulloch went to her heavenly home on December 23, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on February 10, 1934, in Augusta, Kansas, to Ercel and Nadene (Allen) Reed.

Beverly grew up on a farm west of Towanda alongside her younger sister, Rosemarie. She often shared fond memories of milking cows, riding her horse, and helping her mother with chores around the house and farm. She attended school in Towanda and graduated from Towanda High School in 1952, maintaining lifelong friendships with many of her classmates. After High School, she attended El Dorado Junior College. Beverly was employed in the offices at Towanda High School, El Dorado Livestock Auction and Circle High School.

On October 2, 1953, Beverly married Robert "Bob" McCulloch. Together, they spent 59 years farming and raising their family until his passing in 2013. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to many. She and Bob were active members of The Benton Church, Fairview Township, and the 4-H community. Beverly was extremely proud of her membership in the Susannah French Putney Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She was an avid reader, gardener, and enjoyed coffee with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert McCulloch; granddaughter, Lauren Goldsbury; sister, Rosemarie Richard; and brother-in-law, Donald Richard.

Beverly is survived by her children, Bradley (Renata) McCulloch and Brenda (Douglas) Berryman of Towanda, KS; grandchildren, Michelle (Sam)Kyner of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Jennifer McCulloch of Black Diamond, WA, and Robert (Jenni) McCulloch of Ravensdale, WA; nephew David (Denise)Richard; great nieces Deedra(Philip)Simoneau, Deanna Richard of Towanda, KS; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-nephews; and one great-niece.

She will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and dedication to family and community.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th, from 5-7 PM at Carlson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, at 10:00 AM at The Benton Church. Beverly will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Towanda Cemetery.

Memorial donations in her name may be directed towards The Benton Church and the Kansas Humane Society.
