Beverly Ann "Bev" McIntyre (Gilbertson) ObituaryBeverly "Bev", age 83, of Spring Park, MN, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home on October 12, 2025.
Bev was born on May 7, 1942, in Red Wing, MN, to Reynold "Ray" and Annie (Berguson) Gilbertson.
Bev married her high school sweetheart, Jerome "Jerry" Hauth. After his passing, Bev married her next true love, Jim McIntyre.
Bev is survived by her five children, Scott Hauth (Lisa), Todd Hauth (Robin), Julie Hauth, Jody Froberg (Rick) and Amanda Needham (Josh), along with six cherished grandchildren, Justin Hauth, Austin Richardson (Amanda), Cody Richardson (Sidney), Heather Jelinek (Zach) Journey Jo and Isaiah Needham. She is also lovingly remembered by her six great-grandchildren: Owen, Daxton, Louie, Hank, Vera, and Jack. Bev is preceded in death by her parents, Reynold "Ray" and Annie Gilbertson, Jerry Hauth, Jim McIntyre, Ron Gilbertson and other cherished family members and lifelong friends.
Bev dedicated her life to the service of others, embodying compassion, strength, and unwavering care. As a Nurse, she touched countless lives with her healing hands and kind heart, offering comfort in times of need and hope in moments of despair. Bev's legacy of selflessness and love will forever remain in the hearts of those that she cared for and their loved ones.
Family get-togethers during holidays and really any random occasions meant the world to her. Bev was also a die-hard Vikings fan! She would get dressed in all purple and gold on game day and proceed to send countless text messages to family members after every play that excited her. She would also simply shut the game off when the Vikings were doing poorly in an act of stubborn dissatisfaction.
Bev was an avid camper and spent many years traveling in addition to living in Florida during the winter months with her husband, Jim. She made life-long friends as a result and had countless wonderful stories of her travels.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Lake Minnetonka Shores care team for their exceptional dedication and service.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 prior to mass. A private burial will follow at Burnside Cemetery in Red Wing, MN.
In lieu of flowers, the family would gracefully accept contributions in Bev's memory to assist with funeral costs and donations will also be made to Alzheimer's Association which was very important to Bev.
You will be forever missed by so many. We love you.
