Beverly K. "Petey" Meagher

Beverly K. "Petey" Meagher, 86, of Hampshire, formerly of Huntley, passed away Tuesday evening, April 25, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
She was born October 30, 1936, in Olean, NY, the daughter of L. Richard and Helen (Byrne) Hofmann.
She married the love of her life, Donald G. "Jerry" Meagher on October 29, 1955, in Tonawanda, NY. Petey loved her catholic faith and was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley. She loved to have fun and had a great sense of humor. She especially loved her family and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Donald M. (DeAnn), Douglas (Jenn), and Colleen (Michael) Lajdziak; grandchildren, Jessica, Victoria, Marc, Justin, Jeremy, Jenna, Shannon, Shauna, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Seth, Reagan, & Kayden.
She is preceded by her parents; her husband, Donald "Jerry"; and son Dennis.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Monday, May 1, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Huntley Rd. in Huntley and will be live streamed. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery in Huntley.
Visitation will be prior to mass at the church from 9 to 9:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
