Beverly Carolyn Melton

Beverly Carolyn Melton, age 72, of Pine Bluff, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She was born July 1, 1953 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Henry Bolen and Jean Davenport. Ms. Melton was very proud of her Native American heritage. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was very close to her granddaughter, Brianna, who took care of her for the last six years of her life. She also loved camping and fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years on the exact same month, date, and day of the week six years apart. Also, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike and Ray Bolen. She was survived by her children, Suzanne Griffin, Scott McBurnett (Linda), Jeff McBurnett (Tracie), seven grandchildren and her beloved dog, Chip, whom she loved dearly. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Rowell Cemetery with Darrell Hedden officiating.
