A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. The Reverend Don Bruce will officiate. Family and friends are welcome 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church.
Beverly was born on March 14, 1939, the daughter of Martin and Laura (Heida) Daenicke in Abbotsford. She graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1957. On October 12, 1957, Beverly was united in marriage to David Michlig in Abbotsford. She worked as head housekeeper at the nursing home in Abbotsford for a short time. Then in 1974, David and Beverly purchased a small engine repair business called Dave's Repair in Abbotsford and sold it in 2007.
Beverly was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford where she was a member of the Priscilla Guild and the quilting club. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and tending her garden. Beverly will be sadly missed.
Beverly is survived by her husband, David of 67 years; her son Kevin (Laurie) Michlig of Colby; her granddaughter, Stephanie Michlig (Nick); her sister, Shirley (Don) Marcott of Weston and a sister-in-law, Ramona Michlig of Colby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Christina Ashley Michlig; her brother, Donald Daenicke and her sister, Elaine Johnson.
