Beverly Rose "Girard" Moore

Beverly Rose (Girard) Moore, 83, of Dedham, passed away peacefully at home on February 24th. She was born, attended school, worked, and raised a family all in Dedham. She worked for Norfolk and Dedham Insurance Co. for over 40 years.

Beverly was the beloved wife of the late David W. Moore of Dedham. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Moore of Lynn Haven, Florida, and David Moore Jr. of Dedham. Beverly was a devoted grandmother to Thomas, Matthew, and Danielle Moore and a proud great-grandmother to Elizabeth and Alexander Moore.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Pauline McGrath and Barbara Civaterese of New Hampshire and Stephen Girard of Mansfield. Beverly was predeceased by her brothers Bernard, Eugene, Richard, Henry, Vincent, and Russell Girard as well as her sister Lois Strand.

Beverly was a force of nature, an authentic, energetic personality who took great pride in her roles as wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and neighbor. She loved to laugh and dance (best dancer Dedham High School 1960), a good joke (clean or dirty), the casino, and her friends and family. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s or the MSPCA, two organizations she proudly supported.
