Beverly R. Mountford
1937 - 2025
Beverly Ruth Mountford, of Pomfret, CT was a vibrant soul known for her artistic talent, her green thumb, and her sharp mind in real estate. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and lifelong artist, whose warmth, laughter, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She passed away peacefully beside family on November 26th, 2025, at the age of 88. Beverly was born on July 14th, 1937, in
Putnam, CT. She was the daughter of the late William Mountford and Mary Mountford.
In addition to taking care of her children, Beverly lived a life filled with creativity and purpose. She loved to create art, including ceramics, drawing, painting, and decorating her home. She found great joy and tranquility in her gardens, creating a colorful sanctuary brimming with roses, and iris's, amongst her beautiful fruit trees.
Beverly worked at Glass Container in Dayville, CT as the supervisor of the reclamation department. After leaving Glass Container, she excelled as a respected real estate agent and broker, for over 20 years, where her integrity, dedication and kindness earned her the trust of countless clients and colleagues.
Above all, Beverly treasured her family. She was a deeply loving and supportive mother to her children, Leo Beausoleil of Brooklyn, William Beausoleil and spouse Sharie of Woodstock, Debra Metzger and spouse Lance of Brooklyn, Rodney Beausoleil and spouse Victoria of Brooklyn. The light of her life were her beloved grandchildren, Zackery, Shelbi, Shyanne, Lance Jr., Nevin, Russell, Micah, Thomas, William, and Avery. As well as her great-grandchildren, Zenna, Marlo, Tommy, Saylor, and Ayla.
She is survived by her siblings, Shirley Ayer's and Robert Mountford, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Louise Goar and William Mountford.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Beverly's family on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Church St.,
