Beverly Mumley

Beverly Barnes Mumley, 77 of Essex Junction died peacefully at University of Vermont Medical Center on June 18th with family by her side. Beverly was born on Feb 21, 1946 in Burlington, the daughter of Lloyd Barnes and Katherine Timms Barnes. She was a graduate of South Burlington High School. On April 15, 1967 she married the love of her live Delford "Del" Mumley Jr. in Burlington. Beverly worked at IBM in Burlington for many years. She was a lifelong area resident.
Beverly had a great love for all animals. She loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews and loved them as if they were her own children.
Beverly is survived by her brother Robert Barnes and her sisters Claire Oldenburgh and Shirley Qatani. She is also survived by her nephews Martin Qatani, Brian, David and Michael Barnes and her nieces Patty Bosley, Debbie Cousino, Donna Metivier and Brenda LQ Curran.
She was predeceased by her husband Del, her brother Charles Barnes, her nephew Todd Qatani and her niece Diane Miner.
In keeping with Beverly's wishes, there will be no memorial service and a private interment will take place.
