Beverly Murri Obituary
Born on October 1, 1934 in Detroit, MI, She devoted her life to loving her family, serving others and living out the teachings of her catholic faith. She was a woman of quiet strength, daily prayer, and unwavering trust in God. Her rosary was never far from her reach and she found great joy in attending mass. As a mother she was patient, selfless, and generous with her time and love. She was a model of faith and compassion.
She is preceded in death by her parents Otto and Clara Grates. Her beloved husband Robert Murri of 58 years. Sisters Winfred and Joyce. Grandson Dennis Gregory.
She is Survived by her children Susan (Dennis) Gregory, Laura (Carl) Sanders, Deborah (Carl) Gibson, Kenneth Murri and Robert (Diane) Murri. Grandchildren: Robert, Nicholas, Anthony, Alexander, Christopher, Charles, Samantha, Veronica, Carlie and Marcella, and 8 cherished great-grandchildren.
Instate will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 10am until the time of Funeral Mass 11am at St. Malachy Catholic Church 14115 E 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mt. Elliott Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207.
Eternal rest grant unto her O'Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace.
