Beverly Nichols Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beeler-Gores Funeral Home on Mar. 27, 2026.
Beverly Ann Nichols, age 81, of Middleville, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2026. On that day, she was reunited with her late husband, Arthur Nichols, the love of her life.

Beverly was born on July 21, 1944, in Hopkins, Michigan, to Charles and Esther Allen. She lived a life centered around love, family, and the simple joys that brought comfort to those around her.

She is survived by her sister, Crystal, as well as her children: Eugene, aka Bubba, Jeffrey (Deb), John, Richie, and Michael (Brynn). Beverly was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and one great-grandson, and she also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Esther Allen; her husband, Arthur; and her siblings Betty, Eugene, George, and Bob.

Beverly will always be remembered for her warm heart, her love of watching her soap operas, her sweet tooth, and for making the best mashed potatoes that her family will never forget. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and spending time with those she loved most. She also cherished her coffee time with her neighbor, Kaye, who took wonderful care of her-helping with doctor appointments, trips to the store, and even washing her hair. Their friendship meant so much to her and her family.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Middleville, Michigan, with services officiated by Dennis Gilbert.

I'm free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free;

I took His hand when I heard Him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy.

My life's been full, I savored much-

Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;

Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts and share with me-

God wanted me now; He set me free.
