Mrs. Beverly G. Parslow, 88, of State Highway 10, Canajoharie, NY, passed away on March 5, 2026, at St. Mary's Healthcare.

Mrs. Parslow was born in the Town of Seward on August 20, 1937, the daughter of the late Harry S. Hotaling, Sr., and Beatrice Mae Baxter Hotaling.

She attended schools in Otsego County and Fulton Montgomery County Community College for 2 years.

While she was working, she was the manager of Cumberland Farms in Nellison for many years, later going to work as an associate at the Palatine Bridge Cumberland Farms.

She lived in the local area her entire life.

Beverly had served on the Board of Elections, helped with Brownies, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, written short stories, made ceramics, knitted, crocheted, sewn, crafted all kinds of things, baked wedding and birthday cakes, and done puzzles.

She was predeceased in death by her daughter, Goldie Bea Tyler, 2 brothers, Harry Hotaling, Jr., and David M. Hotaling, and her sister, Marlene Blair.

Survivors include her daughter Phyllis Prevost, son Arthur R. Parslow, Jr., son Bruce A. Parslow, daughter Cherie-Lynn Phillips and her husband Keith, and her son Scott Parslow and his wife Jennifer; brother Danny G. Hotaling, and sister Crystal A. Barnes; 8 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00-12:00 on Monday, March 9th, 2026, at the Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. A Funeral will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Fowler officiating.

Burial will take place at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery in the spring.

Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in her memory, please consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
