Mr. Beverly Carroll Roberts of Alton, VA passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at his home with his girls and Vincent by his side on a peaceful and quiet snowy morning. He was born July 6, 1950 in Halifax County, VA and was 75 years old. He was the son of the late Beverly Bee Roberts and the late Martha Vaughan Roberts.
Graduated from Halifax County High School in 1969, attended college at Danville Community College where he majored in electrical and refrigeration. Worked at Goodyear for 15 years then worked for Boddie-Noell as a Maintenance tech for 30 years where he retired.
He came from a large family of 10, 9 boys and 1 girl. His favorite thing in this world was Bluegrass Music especially Rhonda Vincent and he enjoyed attending festivals in the summertime. He loved racing in the early years of Richard Petty then Kyle Busch, football and the Washington Commanders. He enjoyed going fishing. He loved his family dearly. He was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and in his recent years he became an avid church goer at McGhees Mill Baptist where he had many friends who loved him dearly. He was a wonderful man and certified jokester; he always had a joke and kept everyone laughing. He will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frankie Reeves officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall, and other times at his home.
