Beverly Dianne Saunders, 70, passed away peacefully at her home on May 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Dianne was born March 24, 1955, in Anderson, to the late Guy and Ella (Tragesar) Tomlinson.
A proud graduate of Shenandoah High School in 1973, Dianne began her career at AgOne Co-op before venturing into the world of real estate for approximately a decade. In 1985, she and her husband opened Saunders Flooring, where she dedicated herself for the rest of her professional life.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dianne was deeply invested in her family and community. Her role as Team Mom in her son's sports fostered connections and created lasting memories, reflecting her enthusiasm and dedication. She was known for being the glue that held her family together, embodying support and love in every aspect of her life.
Those who knew Dianne cherished her feisty spirit, especially in her younger years. Her passions extended well beyond her career; she found joy in collecting snow globes, baking delectable treats, and nurturing a beautiful garden filled with flowers. Dianne also enjoyed spending quality time with her dog, Benny, and staying engaged with her community through social media, ensuring her loved ones were always updated.
One of Dianne's proudest accomplishments was co-founding Christina's Cozy Chemo Comforters alongside her son. Their efforts in this small donation organization demonstrated her compassionate heart and commitment to helping those in need.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 52 years, David Saunders; son, Drew Saunders; granddaughter, Jaclyn Saunders; brother-in-law Bobby (Jerry) Saunders; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina Saunders; brother, Gerald Tomlinson; and nephew, Tony Tomlinson.
The family will conduct a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Blessings to the Saunders family. Dianne was a sweet lady and I was impressed by creating the Christina's Cozy Chemo Comforters charity to honor her daughter's memory. So sorry for your family's loss.
