Beverly Jean "Jeanie" Schaefer

Beverly Jean "Jeanie" Schaefer, 75, of Anderson, passed away on February 3, 2026, surrounded by family in the home that her father built over 70 years ago. She was born on July 15, 1950, in Anderson, Indiana.

Jeanie graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1968.

Jeanie worked for Gene's Root Beer for over twenty years and had also worked at the Pendleton Reformatory.

She loved going to antique stores and festivals and was an avid doll collector, having made porcelain dolls with her sister for many years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jeanie is survived by sons, Paul (Anita) Schaefer, Trevor (Mindy) Schaefer, and Todd Schaefer; grandchildren, Alexis (Ben) Dunkelberger, Rylan (Cianna) Schaefer, Dylan Schaefer, Ryan Schaefer, Jaquelyn (Dreyshawn) Schaefer; great-grandchildren, Amaya Schaefer, Araya Schaefer, and Da'Kari Brown; siblings, Ruth (Bill) Moto, Jerry (Brenda) Stamm, and Verl Stamm, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Benn Schaefer; parents, Floyd Leroy Jr. and Hazel Marie Stamm; sister, Linda Chew; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Jean Schaefer; and nephew, Mike Moto.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson, IN.

Services will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery.
