Beverly Alita Schoonover, 79, of Topeka, passed away on September 24, 2025 at University of Kansas Medical Center.
She was born on April 16, 1946 to Charles and Ruth (Reese) Estes in Topeka, Kansas.
Beverly worked as a Homemaker for many years.
She married Albert Schoonover who preceded her in death. They resided in Topeka.
Beverly is survived by her sons; Mathew Schoonover, Albert Schoonover Jr., daughters; Becky Schoonover, Tracy Schoonover, and son-in-law Chris Goodwin. Beverly Schoonover is survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Albert Schoonover Sr., sons; Bryan and Lee Schoonover.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 10am, both at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66604, with Pastor Mike Swendson, officiating.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service, at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel .
Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of Shawnee County, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, Kansas 66604
Beverly was a beautiful woman. She was a mother too all & a lovely soul to have in your life. She will be missed daily. This message is to all her kids & everybody that's always been around her. I want to say thank you from myself, Becky and my mother Beverly. My mother was everything to me, she was my heart no matter what. She was my best friend - until I see you again my angel. Rip mommy
