Beverly Flora Sweeney

Beverly Flora Sweeney (nee Vette), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the age of 81. Cherished daughter of the late Louis and Bernice Vette; devoted mother of Dwayne Green, and Tara (Tom) Smith; loving grandmother of Trenton (Mekayla Dowell) Smith, Trista (Dylan) Collinson, and Tanner Smith; treasured great-grandmother of Grayson Smith; dear sister of Carole (the late Ron) Stroessner, and Glennon Vette. Beverly is survived by a host of nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Beverly was fun-loving, energetic, and a friend to all. She was never afraid to speak her mind and truly loved meeting and talking with people- most would say she never met a stranger. A true people-person, Beverly cherished being surrounded by friends and family. She enjoyed going to the casino, bowling, traveling, and cruising with her friends, and she especially loved spending time talking and laughing with those she cared about. Beverly worked as a bus driver/router for the Francis Howell School District for more than 30 years, a role she took great pride in. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. Quirky, warm, and full of life, Beverly was a joy to be around. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
