Beverly Ann Taylor (née Asmo), 77, passed away on December 29, 2025, with her son and daughter by her side in Highlands, North Carolina. Born on August 16, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, Beverly lived a life marked by devotion to her family, unwavering strength, and a deep capacity for love. She was absolutely the best Mom and Nana.
Beverly graduated from Upper Arlington High School and went on to attend Ohio State University. Early in her career, she worked as a hairdresser-a role that reflected her vibrant personality and love of connecting with others. However, it was when she became a stay-at-home mom that Beverly found her true calling. She poured her heart into raising her children with care and dedication.
As her children grew older and entered high school, Beverly returned to the workforce with characteristic determination. She worked at the Cancer Society making calls and later joined Jezerinac Geers Engineering in Collections. Her perseverance in this role was notable and deeply respected by those around her.
Eventually relocating to Florida, Beverly embarked on what would become a three-decade-long tenure as a manager at the Diabetic Support Program. Her commitment to helping others manage their health challenges was both impactful and inspiring. She was a trusted friend and advisor to many of her coworkers, and it was there that she met some of her closest friends.
Beverly's Catholic faith was an enduring source of strength throughout her life. She cherished time spent entertaining friends and family-her home was always open, warm, and filled with laughter. A passionate shopper with a particular fondness for hunting for Ralph Lauren at TJMaxx. She was a loyal fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and loved to watch them every Saturday!
Above all else, Beverly was the heart of her family-the fierce Mom and Nana, who kept everyone close and safe. Her love formed the foundation upon which generations stood strong. She showed what resilience truly looked like: steadfast in adversity, determined in purpose, and generous beyond measure.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Christopher Taylor; daughter Melissa Taylor; adored granddaughters Alexis Taylor and Marisa Taylor; sister Susan Asmo Homsher; brothers Rick (Judi) Asmo and Randy (Tina) Asmo; sister-in-law Debbie Asmo Vanderson; best friends Virgie (Tom) Casella and Herta (Franz) Suess; as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Beverly now joins in eternal rest her beloved husband Ernest "Rusty" Taylor; father Armond Asmo; mother Bette Asmo; and brother A. John Asmo.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
May Beverly's memory continue to bring comfort to all who knew her. Her legacy of love will live on through the lives she touched so deeply.
