Beverly Vandervoort Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society - Schofield on Mar. 16, 2026.
Beverly A. Vandervoort, 73, of Merrill, passed away at Seasons of Life Hospice, on March 6, 2026.

She is survived by her children, Heather Majetic, Christina (Nick) Wendt, James (Angie) Reiche, Matthew (Michela) Reiche, and Michelle Reiche; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith Vandervort; son, Jeremy; as well as her son-in-law, Chuck Majetic.

Beverly was happiest where the trees were tall, the water was calm, and a fishing pole rested in her hands. Camping under open skies and waking up to the quiet sounds of nature brought her a kind of peace that few things could match. Whether it was casting a line into the water or sitting by a campfire, she found joy in life's simple moments.

Her dogs were never just pets-they were her loyal companions, adventure partners, and constant sources of love. They followed her through countless walks, camping trips, and lazy afternoons, always close by, where they belonged.

She also had a well-known love for rings. If something sparkled, she probably owned it-or planned to. Each ring told a story and wearing them was just one more way she expressed her vibrant personality.

She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love for the outdoors, her devotion to her dogs, and the little flashes of sparkle on her fingers that perfectly matched the brightness she brought into the lives of those around her.

Her memory will live on in the quiet mornings by the water, the warmth of a campfire, the wag of a happy dog's tail, and every bit of sparkle that catches the light.

A private celebration of Beverly's life will take place at a later date.
