Beverly Waldemarson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc. - Wesleyville on Jan. 4, 2025.
Beverly Waldemarson
Our beloved mother, Beverly Waldemarson, age 86, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Beverly left us to join hands with her husband, Roy, who passed away in 2014. They were married for 59 years. Beverly and Roy raised six children together. Beverly was the daughter of Eugene and Marian Gallagher.
Beverly will be remembered for her great cooking and making many pies, which she would work so hard at over the holidays. Beverly also canned the best grape juice and many fruits and vegetables over the years. She enjoyed wintering in Florida with Roy for over a decade during their retirement years. Beverly also enjoyed gardening, reading, Elvis music, and just visiting with everyone.
Beverly was a dedicated wife and mother, who had a selfless and giving heart. She had a good sense of humor laughing along with her husband at his jokes and stories.
Beverly is survived by her six children, two sons, Jeffrey Waldemarson of Erie and Dave (Janet) Waldemarson of Clymer, NY and four daughters, Lisa Cleary of Erie, Linda (Rich) Donihi, Sally (Bob) Newcomer and Marian (Eric) Biby all of Erie; one sister, Carolyn (George) Seymour of Sheffield, PA; one brother, Patrick (Barb) Gallagher of Erie; one brother-in-law, Tom Waldemarson; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Gallagher.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brevillier and Ball Pavillion for taking care of their mother for the last seven years.
Please think of Beverly with a warm smile in your heart and a wink of her beautiful blue eyes. We would also point out that only a mother like Bev would go out with the broom while we waited for the bus to chase the mean rooster away. She was always looking out for us kids.
There will be a private family memorial at the families' discretion. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider donating on behalf of Beverly to your local fire department or any animal shelter, as she was a lover of all pets.
