Beverly A. (Peterson) Williams, 80, went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2024. She was born February 2, 1944 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Frank and Bonnie Peterson, and Foster Parents, Hank and Mary Cook. She graduated from Seaman High School with class of 1961 in Topeka and Stewarts Beauty Academy. She worked as a Hairdresser for 43 years in her home. She enjoyed her Bible Study group. She belonged to several lunch groups, one of which was made up of old neighbors and friends from high school. She loved being with family and grandchildren. She loved crocheting afghans for her kids, grandkids and many others. She has enjoyed preparing Sunday dinners for her family many years. She attended Topeka Bible Church and was a member of Koinonia Class at the church.

She is survived by her husband Stan of 61 years. Also surviving is a daughter Shelee (Roy) Shafer of Grantville; two sons Alan Williams of Topeka and Jason (Trisha) Williams also of Topeka; grandchildren Ashley (Scott) Toyne, Kayla (Casey) Baker, Riley Shafer, Isabelle and Lanie Williams; great-grandchildren Blake, Addison and Connor Toyne, Elee Reynolds, Cashton and Carson Baker. She also is survived by a sister Kaye DeHart of Cleveland, MO, sister-in-law Therese Peterson of Topeka, and brother-in-law Myron (Jan) Williams of Sand Springs, OK and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and foster parents, a grandson Chad Alan Shafer and three brothers Larry, Karl and Neil Peterson. 

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 5th at Topeka Bible Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care or Koinonia class in care of Topeka Bible Church.
