Beverly Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel of Capitol Hill on Feb. 8, 2022.
Beverly Lynn Duncan Wright was born March 27, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed into the arms of her savior February 5, 2022.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Kelley Eugene Wright; by her three children Christina Michelle, Kyle Eugene(with his wife Jessica), and Kevin Edward(with his wife Harli). She is also survived by her three granddaughters Rori, Kylie, and Kori; by her sister Kimberly, her brother Chuck, her mother Michelle; by her father-in-law Claude and mother-in-law Eddie Jo; and by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Beverly attended school in south Oklahoma City – Hayes Elementary, Webster Middle School, and Southeast High School as well as taking some classes at Oscar Rose Junior College in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
She was an excellent student, effortlessly mastering most any subject. That was a good thing because she loved spending lots of time with her family and having fun with friends from school and church. That fun included country western music, singing and 'boot scootin' dancing. Up to any challenge, she played Aunt Eller in her high school production of Oklahoma, learned to play the piano, taught herself to sew, and pleased her family by becoming an excellent cook.
Although she could not nurture her grandchildren as she would have wanted to do, she did get to meet her three precious granddaughters before passing from this world. They lit up her life.
To all of us, she left her positive spirit, always countering any downcast expression with her ever present proclamations, "Get over it! It'll be just fine." She was a force to be reckoned with, making friends wherever she went, spreading smiles with her good humor and sharp wit.
We can only imagine her joyful reunion with those who have gone before her; grandparents, aunts and uncles, good friends, and her beloved Daddy. God's speed sweetheart.
