Obituary:
June 19, 1976 – October 7, 2025
Carrollton, Texas
With profound love and sadness, we announce the passing of Bianira Edith Tristan on October 7, 2025.
Born in Mexico on June 19, 1976, and raised in Laredo, Texas, Bianira was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend whose warmth, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives.
She was a proud and passionate teacher at McLaughlin/Strickland Elementary School in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District, where she dedicated her heart to her students.
Above all, Bianira's greatest pride and joy were her two daughters, Brianna Maldonado and Brileen Maldonado. They were the center of her world and the light of her life.
Bianira was selfless, giving, and full of light, our sun. Her warmth, laughter, and love brightened every room and every heart she touched.
She is survived by her daughters, Brianna and Brileen; her loving mother, Anita Granados; her father Felipe Tristan, her sisters, Ruby Tristan, Brenda Tristan, and Anna Salazar ; her brother-in-law, Enrique Manuel Salazar; and her niece, Luna Fonseca. She also leaves behind many friends, colleagues, and students who will forever carry her memory with love and gratitude.
Bianira will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her boundless kindness, and her unwavering love.
Her light will never fade-
it simply shines in a different sky.
When the sun warms your face,
know she's smiling down on you.
