Bibi Lim

B i B i Lim (RIP 12/8/24) was born on 4/18/34 as the 4th. child of Mr. Tan Yak Pang and Mrs. Go Kam in Fookien, China. She rode the plane with her mum & oldest bro., Dr. Leong Gee Tan, to Phils. as a toddler before WWII.
She was a preschool teacher then became a businesslady when she married Bun So Lim in 1957. She had six children: Dr. Venancio, Willie, Peter, Caroline (4/14/61- 5/3/22), Celestine & Winston Lim (8/12/64- 4/23/23).
Bi Bi immigrated to Detroit, Mi in 1976 and worked in dietary dept. at Detroit hospital for years. She enjoyed shopping, knitting, cooking, baking & decorating cakes. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and siblings. She had fun going to different places in Phils. China, Japan & Germany.
She is survived by her 4 children, 7 grand children (Stephanie, Elven, Elkein, Lauren, Patrick, Tiffany & Crystal) & 5 siblings (Bi Giok, Amelia, Liong Hee, Dr. Conchita & Dr. Mary), nieces & nephews.
Her kindness, friendly & generous personality will be missed but not forgotten. Pray for her soul. REST in PEACE. Visitation will be Saturday December 21st Starting at 1 PM until the time of her Funeral Service 5 PM at the Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home 23690 Woodward Ave. Pleasant Ridge, Mi. 48069
