Bicente Lopez Galindo, age 62, was born in Odessa, Texas, and passed away on November 21, 2025. Bicente attended Ector High School and later dedicated 12 years of service to ECISD before retiring.
More than anything, Bicente will be remembered for the incredible heart he carried through life. He was a great father, a caring individual, and the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. His presence could light up any room he walked into, and his wonderful sense of humor had a way of lifting spirits even on the hardest days. Bicente’s kindness, laughter, and generosity will forever remain part of the legacy he leaves behind.
He is preceded in death by his father, Basilio M. Galindo; his mother, Rita Lopez Galindo; his sisters, Annabel Juarez, and Belia G. Flores; and his brother, Rudy Galindo.
Bicente is survived by his son, Basilio Bicente Martinez Galindo; his daughters, Ashley Nicole Martinez, and Amanda Monquecho; and his brothers, Richard Berdoza and Ruben Berdoza. He is also survived by his sisters, Elva G. Clark, Romelia G. Tarin, and Christina G. Estorga. He leaves behind four cherished grandchildren who will grow up hearing stories about his laughter, his love, and his unforgettable spirit.
Visitation has been set for Tuesday November 25, 2025, from 1pm-9pm with a Prayer service at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon and brother Richard Berdoza officiating.
Pallbearers will be Eli Estorga, Ezequiel Estorga, Ruben Jr. Tarin, Oscar Garcia, Michael Tarin, and Edgar Fabela
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the MCH staff and the hospice team for the compassion and care shown during Bicente’s final days.
Cremation will follow at a later date.
