Lorissa Chaparro
February 20, 2025
Hello all, my name is Lorissa Chaparro, and it was such a pleasure to know Secuirty Joe when I attended REV. He knew my father and one day he came up to me when he heard the last name and goes "heyyy Mija I know your dad" and from that day on I knew in the school I´d be watched and protected by Joe. He always had a smile on his face. Most students got along with Joe because of his vibe he let off. He changed kids lives in that school because he was so understanding. My condolences to the family. This hurt my heart when I heard the news

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the San Pedro family. I was fortunate enough to be graced by the San Pedro family when my son Brian became a lifetime brother to James. The most enduring part is their hearts and forever smiles. Joe was a young man when he coached Brian and James' RBY team. The same light and smile I saw in James, I saw in Joe. My children are precious gifts to me and I never entrusted them to just anyone. When my son was with the San Pedro's, over the years, I always knew he would be as safe with them, as he was with me. I always knew if Joe was by their sides, at games or excursions, my son was also his little brother. That is rare in this life, to find once strangers, that form a lifetime bound and love for each other. Over the years I saw Joe with his children and grow gray hair but never once did not see his light and smile when he reached out to hug me after saying "Brian's Mom"how are you. The world has seen a special light enter heaven, one that will never be unseen by those of us Joe graced. My words cannot convey my heartbreak and condolences to a family that is so special to this earth. May God give your hearts calm and keep your grief in centered in love
