Funeral service for Billy “Bill” Harold Bridges, 84, of Burleson will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, with Toney Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M., Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral, 512 North Ridgeway, Cleburne, Texas.
Billy “Bill” Harold Bridges, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2025 in Burleson, Texas. He was born on May 15th, 1941 in Cleburne, Texas.
Bill was one of seven children to Lois and Howard Gossett. He graduated from Cleburne High School and married Carol Dawn Conway. He also attended University of Arlington.
Bill was successful in business, owning his own concrete company, BB Enterprises, where he worked many years alongside his son, Tim Bridges. With his success, he always had a generous spirit and provided annual Christmas toy donations to Operation Blessing, in Cleburne, Texas.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy Bridges, Jr. “Butch” ; former wife and friend, Carol Dawn Bridges; and brothers, Howard Lane Gossett, Kenneth Gossett, and Larry Dan Gossett.
Bill is survived by his children, Tim Bridges, Brenda Cannon and husband Jack “Bodie” Cannon; grandchildren Madeline Cannon, Mariah Davis and husband Donovan Davis; great grandchildren, Roland Davis and Walker Davis; brothers, Lonnie Gossett, Ronnie Gossett, and sister, Betty Davis; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
