Bill (William) Buol passed away on September 7, 2024 at the age of 85. He was a kind, loving and hard-working man that supported his friends and family, because that is what was important to him. When someone needed his help or his family needed his support, he put everything aside to help them. He was a very loyal human being.
Bill did many fun things in his lifetime and took many life journeys. He had an adventuresome spirit and love of people. His earlier hobbies included hunting with hound dogs and riding horses, roping and rodeos. Later in life he took up boating. He amazingly built his own boat and sailed away to Mexico for a year. He settled in Clatskanie Oregon with his wife Darlene. Living in Clatskanie provided him and Darlene the opportunity to continue their boating lifestyle with a place on the water for his boats, family and friends.
Bill worked as an electrician for his entire life. While working his trade profession, he was able to travel and work in many states, locations, and environments. His occupation accommodated his lifelong dream of traveling and experiencing new places.
Bill Buol was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Doris Buol, his brother Richard Buol and his daughter Aurora Buol-Smith. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Darlene Clevenger, also his son Bill Buol, his daughter LeiAnne Sparhawk, his grandchildren, Garrett Buol, Theya Smith, Alicia Hayes, Carissa Rock, Sheaen Smith, Kayla Eshe, Brooks Eshe and great grandchildren Tyler Goforth, Lillian Akre, Alex Rios, Jacob Goforth, Makaila Akre, Cameron Goforth, Max Rios, Sasha Smith, Solara Smith, Carter Buol, Adeleine Young, Merrick Young, Silas Eshe, Millie Colella. He is also survived by his former wife and friend, Donna Buol-Heuston.
When I am gone, look not for my grave.
I will not be there.
I will be everywhere.
She will scatter me upon our place,
but the winds will take me I know not where.
For I have not been there.
Having loved beauty, I will settle there so look for beauty,
it is everywhere and I will be there.
Your eyes will see me, if you look with your heart.
And if you look deeply, we will not be apart for I will be there in your heart.
And I will look out your eyes and we will both see beauty.
