Bill Doland Obituary

Bill was born on April 7, 1947 in Norwalk, CT, son of the late William T. and Priscilla Russell Doland. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an optician for many years, retiring from The Eye Care Group in Branford. An avid fisherman and member of the Indian Neck Yacht Club, Bill enjoyed the outdoors and being on the water and was cherished by many.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Sean) Muldoon of Stratford and Jennifer Doland of Waterbury; his sister Susan Doland of Newtown, and his brothers James Doland of Woodville, TX and Michael (Sandra) Doland of Beaumont, TX, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Kathleen Doland Vega.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday evening, October 2, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Military honors at 6:00 PM.
