Bill Edwards Sr., 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
He was born on July 4, 1946 to the late Herbert T. Edwards and Chelsea (McIntosh) Schafer in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Bill served in the United States Army in the early 60's. He was a second generation HVAC technician for 30 plus years. He enjoyed camping and fishing in his spare time.
Bill is survived by his children, Brenda (John) Boyer, Bill (Karen) Edwards Jr., Beth (Steve) Luoma, Tina Edwards (Rick); sister, Carol Hazelwood; step-brother, Brad Schafer; step-sister, Vicki Foster; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; nephew, Randy (Brenda) Nichols and niece, Candy Corbett (Mike).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Chelsea; nephews, Ricky Nichols and Kevin Short.
Graveside service with military honors will be Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 1:00 pm, at Crown Hill National Cemetery, 725 W. 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
