Bill owned several bike shops throughout his career and was passionate about his work. He also invested in real estate around Ann Arbor. He was a stickler for timeliness and instilled a good work ethic in his children. In his earlier years Bill was a talented guitar player and played at home with friends and around Ann Arbor. He liked to brag that he even played with Bob Seger before he became famous. Bill was a lover of dogs. He owned and trained many dogs over the years.
He is survived by his children; Mark (Cheryl McGough) Loy, Susan (Andy) Maiville, Chuck (Leslie) Loy, and James (Caryn) Loy; his grandchildren; Jena (Jeff) Seno, Odin Loy, Owen Loy, Gracie May Loy, Kayden Loy and Waylon Loy and two great-grandchildren; Amara Seno and Kai Seno.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Huron Valley Humane Society.
