Bill Mineer, age 88, of Vandalia, passed away June 18, 2024. He was born September 9. 1935 in Maysville, KY to the late Owen and Annabelle Mineer. In addition to his parents,
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jean Mineer; his son, Bobby Mineer; grandchildren: Houston and Austin Mineer and his siblings, Russell, Charles, Etchie, Mae, Margaret, Leonard, Sammy and Betty.
Bill is survived by his sons: Scott Mineer (Gina), Jamie Mineer and Stephen Mineer (Ming); grandchildren: Matthew (Chelsea), Troy and Dylan; great-grandson, Van and his brother, Joe Mineer.
Bill was a mechanic, musician and a UK Wildcat Fan. He was a man of many skills and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 at New Vision Church, 950 Helke Road, Vandalia, where a celebration of life service will begin at 7:30 pm.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428.
