I never k.new Mr Parnis well, but his son Bill is the finest, sweetest man I've ever known, devoted to his family , his faith and his friends. I am a better person for knowing him, so I can only assume Mr. Parnis was also a wonderful man.

Childhood as a special time in one's life especially when it is spent with a special uncle. Uncle Bill is very special to me and I always remember visiting him at my grandmother's home on Robson Street. He would take me out back and show me his beautiful flower garden and explain all the different types of flowers he planted. He also had an awesome pond. It was filled with the most beautiful goldfish. Every Spring when I plant my flowers here in Tennessee I always think of Uncle Bill's Garden. I wish I could be in town for the service but I will remember him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. May his soul enjoy the beauty of God's Heavenly Kingdom. With love, irene McCtay Franklin TN.

Uncle Bill,
It was a pleasure for me as a young boy to experience your camaraderie and kindness. Remembering your gardens, their plants always appeared to be lush, healthy and happy. The pond in your yard was teaming with goldfish, creating an excellent garden centerpiece. I never knew until now that you were a Master Gardener. Cherishing gardening and plant life, I wish you a belated congratulations on your Master Gardener achievement. Also, thank you for your contributions and sharing of talent in making our world a better place in which to live!
Love & highest regards,
--
