William R. "Bill" Ralls, 74, of Colwich, died Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Ascension Via Christi - St. Joseph, Wichita, KS. Funeral services 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 3101 N. Coolidge Ave, Wichita, KS. Committal Graveside Service at 2:30 p.m. Eden Cemetery, Milton, KS. William Randall Ralls was born January 14, 1951 at Ft. Scott, KS to Joseph Floyd Ralls, Sr. and Vivian Mildred (Pryer) Ralls. He grew up in Uniontown, KS attended the local public schools. He graduated from Uniontown High School with the class of 1969. He continued his education at Ft. Scott Junior College. Bill was united in marriage to Judy Seiler and to this union two daughters were born: Rebecca and Beth Ann. The family made their home in Colwich, KS. Bill later married Cheryl Jayne (Buttle) Cessna on November 19, 1999 in Wichita, KS. They made their home in Colwich, KS their entire married life. Cheryl passed away December 10, 2022. Bill first worked for Field Queen, Inc. in Maize, KS in the manufacturing of agricultural machinery. He later began working in the aircraft industry at Lear Jet before working at Cessna. Ultimately, Bill retired from Boeing Aircraft after 20 years with the company. He also worked several years during retirement for Evergreen Pallet in Wichita. Bill was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by two daughters: Rebecca Steichen (Steve) of Tecumseh, KS; Beth Bryant (Dan) of Derby, KS; one brother Joseph Floyd Ralls, Jr. of Wellington, KS; two step-sons: Donnie Cessna (Shannon) of Goddard, KS; Rick Cessna (Stacey) of Olathe, KS; one step-daughter Tammy Hilger (Kevin) of Nemo, South Dakota; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Memorials have been established to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church or the Wellington Christian Academy. Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs, KS.
