She attended her freshman year at Liberal, KS and moved to an aunt's home in Milan, KS. Beverly graduated from Milan High School in 1950. She attended Friends University and completed her degree and returned to St. Joseph Catholic School December 1, 1970. Beverly retired in 2000 after teaching for nearly 30 years. Marvin preceded her in death that same year on November 19th.

Approximately once a month I would get out the ingredients needed to make mini banana nut breads to prepare and deliver to the members of our Methodist church family + other friends that lived there. It was so enjoyable to visit Beverly because she was a good conversationalist & since we had both had chosen teaching for our profession, we had a lot in common to talk about. Especially about the many changes that have taken place, and will continue to take place thru the years.
Going to visit Beverly in her room was so pleasant because it was so beautifully decorated with her pretty keepsake possessions! In the early days, there seemed to be "hope" that medical science would help her be
somewhat mobile again but that didn't happen. Now that she is moving into the heavenly realms it is my prayer that God will equip her with Angel Wings to travel freely around her new heavenly home!
