Bill Waters Obituary
Mr. William Edward "Bill" Waters, age 78 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Waters was born December 3, 1944 in Winter Haven, Florida to Jack B. and Elizabeth (Johnson) Waters. He was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduated from Winter Haven High School Class of 1962 and Attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Bill was a retired District Manager for Pepsi Company after 24 ½ years and from Publix Warehouse. Bill worked with his parents at "Jack & Betty's Drive In" in Winter Haven and "Longhorn" with his wife Pam in Winter Haven. Bill enjoyed playing golf with his friends, watching the grandkids play sports and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers – Thomas & Harley and grandson – Joshua. Bill is survived by his loving family, wife of 58 years – Pam Waters of Auburndale, Florida; 2 daughters – Dawn (Paul) Goers of Sweetwater, Tennessee and Mary Waters (Bill) Fizette of Lakeland, Florida; 7 grandchildren – DeWayne (Jessica), Scotty (Ashley), Kenny (Victoria), Kayla (Bradley), Jeremy, Hunter and Marrian; 9 great grandchildren – Grayson, Bryton, Joshua, Penelope, Memphis, Hailey, Adam, Zachary and Charlee. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held 5:00 pm Saturday, February 18 at Kersey Funeral Home.
