Mrs. Billie Jean Brocksieck, 86, of rural Mendon, IL, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at her home.
Born December 18, 1939, in Quincy, IL, Billie was the daughter of William and Amy (Leake) Bryant. She married Albert J. Brocksieck on December 23, 1961. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2023.
Billie attended Notre Dame High School in Quincy and had been employed at Motorola, Quincy Paper Box, and Methode Electronics until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and cherished the time she spent with her family.
Survivors include her children, Amy Liebig (Pete) of Clayton, David Paul McKittrick (Chong) of Camp Point, Sheila Keltz (Bob) of Golden, and Bryan Brocksieck (Michelle) of Camp Point; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert, and two sisters, Martha Beadles and Marian Davis.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, IL.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
