Billie Davis Obituary
Billie was the fourth of five children born on September 15, 1935 in Buffalo, West Virginia the daughter of Ira Mason and Winnie Marie (Hall) FroiDeVeaux.
On August 29, 1953, she married Burl Jackson Davis in Buffalo, West Virginia.
They had four children, Rita Bosh, May (Jacki) (Ricky)Tucker, Burl (Aimee) Davis and Jerry Davis. Billie and family moved to Marion in 1959.
She worked at the Quaker Oats factory for 20 years where she retired from. A member of the Grace Baptist Church.
All who knew her will miss her cooking. You could stop over to her kitchen any day and time and she would fix you a full meal even if it was just lunchtime. Coffee was always on and ready for you.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Ira and Winnie; husband, Burl Jackson Davis; sisters Wanna Johnson, Mary Ann Cossin, Rosa Davis; brother Ira (Teddy); FroiDeVeaux son, Jerry Davis; grandson, Brian Dunson; son-in-law, Bill Dodson and Donald (Spike) Gay; and daughter-in-law Aimee Davis.
She will be missed by her whole family, including her beloved children: Burl "David" Davis, Rita Iree Davis, May "Jackie" Davis; grandchildren, Rob (Necol) Dunson, Billy (Lisa) Dodson, Denise (Lalo) Vazquez, Donald Gay, Amber Davis, Brandy Davis 12 Great grandchildren, 26 great, great grandchildren, and 1 great great-great granddaughter.
The sixth generations of her family were her pride and joy come and celebrate her life with them.

Visitation will be from 1PM-2:30PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 2:30PM, with Pastor Nick Worden officiating.

When we joined Grace Baptist Church, she was so kind and welcoming. Our little son would sit with her until I came down from choir ... he had such fun talking with her.. Our deepest sympathy to her family ... Scott n Linda

Our church had a ladies meeting, and I always looked forward to what Billie Jo was bringing. My all-time favorite was rumaki. She also would make the lunch for the church yearly cleaning day. People would sign up to clean just because of her food! I loved talking with her, always so sweet and loved the Lord. She will be missed.
